Posted on January 13th 2010
The caravan manufacturer Bailey have revealed that the new model for their prestigious Pegasus range will be on show at this years Boat and Caravan show held at the NEC, Birmingham. The all new Pegasus 646 will be on display for all to see and they hope it will attract attention from buyers, increasing Baileys market scheme and boosting profits.
The new model follows on from the successful Pegasus 624 but holds a few extra perks and more space than it's older sister. The new model holds the same layout that Bailey introduced in 2007 with its end bedroom configuration, it also has a large kitchen, full length beds and a separate shower and washroom. All of these features together make the twin axel, 6-berth caravan ideal for familes.
The van has been made using a new manufacturing process, which makes it one of a kind as no other caravan in the market uses this construction. The caravan is made using an Alu-Tech body shell, which consists of 5 body panels clamped together using an interlocking system, which requires no external fixing points. Using this system has not only increased the caravan's ability to retain heat but also increases its waterproofing ability. It also acheived the first ever Grade 3 classification for touring caravans giving it a 10 year integrity guarantee.
