A caravan park operator based in Ormskirk will be expanding its operations after the purchase of a Holiday Park in Yorkshire.
Barleymow, with the aid of the Royal Bank of Scotland, has purchased Cawood Park, situated in Selby. The park, which consists of holiday bungalows, cottages and fixed and mobile caravan pitches, was originally partly owned by Barleymow.
The park, which is boarded by the Leeds Liverpool Canal, benefits from a course fishing lake, an onsite shop and a licensed club house.
Barleymow, which was established in 1981, hopes to establish the Cawood site as one of Yorkshires premier holiday establishments, with its 4 star rating and idyllic natural location it looks the be an ideal holiday destination for 2009.
