Beauly caravan park controversy
Posted on October 28th 2008
A popular caravan site in Beauly is becoming the centre of attention for local residents and councillors since new owners began making changes to the grounds, it has been highlighted in the Inverness Courier.
Once a tranquil and hidden-away caravan site popular with holiday and touring caravans, it has now been claimed that the site is home to eight unauthorised residential caravans.
Tree felling and drainage also added to fears that the area will be changing from a holiday site to a semi-permanent residential park, meaning many holidayers will need to look elsewhere for a new favourite holiday spot.
While caravan parks come and go, the dangers and responsibilities of owning a caravan remain relatively constant.
As such it is important, no matter where an owner takes his or her caravan, to ensure their caravan insurance is fully up to date and comprehensive.
