Caravan tyre safety month draws to a close.
Posted on June 23rd 2010
'Caravan Tyre Safety Month', promoted by TyreSafe, the tyre industry's representative body, comes to an end this week. Caravan owners can avoid having to make a claim on their caravan insurance by checking tyres carefully.
Many manufacturers recommend changing caravan tyres every five years because they are often left standing for much of the year. Over or underinflated tyres can cause problems too, and owners should carefully check the walls and tread of tyres before going out on the road for the first time in the year.
Looking after tyres prevents accidents and that keeps people safe and no claims bonuses high. Owners can then improve their chance of a low caravan insurance quote at renewal time.
