Caravan destroyed in two-car smash
Posted on September 01st 2008
A smash involving two cars and a caravan has left a mobile home absolutely destroyed, it has been reported.
Part of the A19 in Sunderland was closed off to traffic after two cars collided, destroying the caravan that was being towed.
One onlooker told the Sunderland Echo: "It looked really nasty. There wasn't much left of the caravan, just a pile of metal. It's a miracle nobody was hurt."
The caravan, which had to be cleared away by the police, will cost the owner a significant sum to replace, unless they have a caravan insurance policy.
Caravan insurance can ensure that, in the event of a crash such as this, the bill for a replacement caravan or repairs are covered by the insurer, and that the owner does not need to fork out several thousand pounds.
