Caravan lovers gather for international show

Caravan lovers are gathering for a big international event showcasing the latest models and innovations in the caravanning and motorhome world.
The International Caravan and Motorhome show, to be held at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC) Birmingham, from October 16th to October 21st, will be a feast for anyone thinking of buying, upgrading or simply perusing.
Last year the inaugural event attracted over 72,000 visitors with many commenting on how easy it was to get around the stands owing to the centre's wide aisles and good signposting.
One visitor remarked: "We love caravanning and wanted to buy a new van we could have spent months looking but by visiting the show we were able to see all the latest models in one place."
Kids under 15 can get in free of charge if accompanied by an adult and at the weekend there is a free creche and kids' play-area.
There is also a programme of entertainment for all the family, as well as outdoor cooking demonstrations and tips on towing and manoeuvring by caravan clubs.
