Caravan made of scrap to go on display
Posted on September 17th 2008
A caravan made almost entirely from goods salvaged from the tip, car boot fairs and eBay will be on display at the Findon Sheep Fair in West Sussex on Saturday (September 20th).
Built by Trevor Williams, 54, of Shoreham, the caravan took just a few hours each day over six months to construct and is designed to Romany gypsy style.
While the Romany caravan will be priceless to Mr Williams and his wife Tracey, the couple would do well to take out some caravan insurance to protect themselves from potential damage to the vehicle.
Caravan insurance can help many caravan owners with the financial burden of replacing their caravans if they are stolen or damaged.
