Caravan park gets tenth Bellamy award

Shorefields Holidays Limited, owner of six parks close to the New Forest area, has a dual celebration this year. This is the tenth year of receiving the environmental campaigner, David Bellamy's, gold award for its green measures, as well as being its 50th - golden - anniversary.
Bellamy is so impressed by the measures which Shorefields Holidays undertakes that he is a regular guest, as are 50 per cent of the company's visitors.
Recycling initiatives, composting and mulching, and a workmate car share scheme are all a part of Shorefields' environmental measures, as well as landscaping with plants to attract butterflies.
