Caravan park saved from closure
Posted on September 04th 2008
A popular caravan and camping site in Woodhall Spa has been rescued from closure, it has been reported, after locals complained about the drop in business that would affect them should the park shut.
Local business owners were concerned that the Woodhall Spa site in Lincolnshire would be shut for good, creating a drought for businesses in the future.
Local councillors have secured an investor though, who has plans to turn land adjacent to the current park into a quality caravan and camping park for the foreseeable future.
The investment reflects the popularity of caravanning, and comes as a reminder that the form of holidaying is on the rise around Britain.
