Caravan parks benefit from credit crunch

The credit crunch is boosting business at caravan parks up and down the country, it has been revealed.
According to the Huddersfield Daily Examiner, demand for places at caravan parks over the summer months has increased by a third, as British holidaymakers reassess their grandiose vacation plans as a result of the economic gloom currently gripping the country.
Energy, petrol and food prices are all rising rapidly while a lack of cheap credit is also impacting negatively on consumers' financial affairs.
What's more, the newspaper speculates that heightening awareness of the environmental impact of flying abroad for a summer holiday has raised interest in caravanning.
Given this demand surge, many caravan parks are looking to improve facilities and accommodation to ensure that guests come away having enjoyed their experience - even though it might have been on a budget.
