Caravans rogue adventure
Posted on September 18th 2009
The owners of a caravan are being tracked down, after it broke free from their vehicle, leaving it abandoned on the side of a road.
On Friday September 11, a ford transit tipper truck was towing the 20ft long caravan along the A449 when it became loose, however it appeared that the driver had not noticed the disappearance of its load and carried on the journey. The caravan left the road smashing into a tree, fortunately in its moment of chaos no other vehicles were caused any disruption.
Police were called out to the scene, who were deligted to see that the caravan had not caused any obstructions to the traffic, however the local council have been contacted to remove the wreckage which is wrapped around the tree, along with any debris left behind.
