Check caravan insurance for bicycle cover

Bikes are popular with caravan owners - after all they're a quick and healthy way of getting around. But bikes need to be secure and owners must make sure that their caravan insurance, either static or touring, covers their bicycles.
If touring caravan insurance doesn't cover bikes then it's worth checking to see if the household contents insurance policy covers them. Unfortunately it's a case of wading through the small print to be sure.
Most insurance policies will only cover bicycles for theft if they are kept securely so always lock them up. Static caravan insurance is less likely to cover bicycles but again it's worth checking the small print. Or make sure it's something you ask about the next time you call for a cheap caravan insurance quote.
