Fishing trips 'need motorhomes' says reporter
Posted on August 14th 2008
Motorhomes are the ideal solution to the fishing fanatic that has grown tired of the normal hotel and fish weekends, an Independent report has suggested.
Journalist Keith Elliott took fancy to the world of motorhomes after borrowing a friend's to use for a short holiday, and has detailed his love of the caravan in an Independent report.
"Clean shirts rather than rumpled ones; hot showers rather than army ones; proper cutlery rather than plastic spoons; drinking from a glass, not a plastic mug; shaking off the quilt rather than condensation in the morning," are all reasons to invest in a motorhome, Mr Elliott said.
Compared to the typical fishing weekend, which is restricted to hotels and crowded fishing spots, the motorhome allows for ultimate freedom, it has been argued, and with enough space to fit a ton of tackle, why would anyone choose anything else?
However, despite the good reasons for investing in a motorhome, reasons for picking up some motorhome insurance are even more compelling.
