Flooding continues to wreak havoc
Posted on November 27th 2009
Caravanners and homeowners across the UK are finding themselves homeless, as their caravan has been flooded or living in a caravan as their home is under water. The problem both home and caravan owners are finding is with the increased number of flooding that occurs in the UK at high risk areas the hunt for insurance becomes increasingly difficult. When an insurance company is found that will offer cover the premium will be sky high, as a result of the risks involved.
The outlook of a Christmas in a caravan is a bleak one but one has to remember that there are those that do spend the winter season in a caravan every year. There are some that are fortunate to have a caravan that they can live in if there house floods, but for those who are not so lucky it is possible to purchase a caravan for under £1000. As long as it is then kept in a safe and secure location insurance can cost as little as £63, providing a place to stay while the effects of the floods wear off.
