Largest caravan show in Europe almost ready
Posted on September 03rd 2008
Preparations are gathering pace for the 32nd annual Lawns Caravan Extravaganza in Yorkshire this weekend.
The show is the largest caravan trade show in Europe, and it is expected that around 20,000 visitors will descend on to Hull to pay a visit.
With a strong influence on East Yorkshire caravan manufacturers, there will be around 160 touring caravans on display, as well as hundreds of holiday homes, lodges and caravan accessories for visitors to learn about, and possibly purchase.
Anyone tempted to pick up a caravan however should be aware that caravan insurance should be bought before driving their new vehicle away, so as to protect them from the potential financial misery associated with a road accident.
A new caravan can cost £10,000 or more, and the modcons inside can easily increase the cost of replacing the vehicle if a car or lorry hits it on the road.
