Mobile home burnt down in suspected arson attack

Posted on December 01st 2008

A mobile home has been found destroyed following a suspected arson attack in Longridge, Lancashire, it has been reported in the Longridge News.

A total of £22,000 of damage has been caused by the fire after the mobile home also set alight to a nearby barn in what local police have begun referring to as an arson attack.

While it is impossible to protect a caravan from all eventualities, it is important to make sure vehicles are locked in secure places when not in use to minimise the risk of a caravan being broken into or damaged.

For those eventualities hard to protect against though, caravan insurance can provide peace of mind for caravan owners.

Caravan insurance can provide financial assistance to owners in the event of a natural disaster or accident, which can then be used to pay for repairs or a replacement vehicle.
