Police alerted to caravan theft
Posted on August 28th 2008
A caravan has been stolen from a caravan park in Lincolnshire, according to local reports.
The mobile home was taken from Cadwell Park in Louth, on the evening of Bank Holiday Monday, and is described as a four berth, cream-coloured Ace Herald caravan.
Thefts of caravans are rare but as they become more fully equipped with the latest modcons they will no doubt become more attractive to thieves.
To protect the wallet of an owner in the event of a theft, or indeed a fire or flood, caravan insurance is advised.
Caravan insurance can offer financial assistance to pay for a replacement caravan or repairs to a vehicle that has been damaged, and can save an owner thousands of pounds of fees in the event of an accident.
The police in Lincolnshire are said to be on the lookout for the caravan, which reportedly has a dent on its front.
