Police warn caravan owners to be careful

Police have urged caravan owners to be careful following a break-in at a caravan camp in Lincolnshire.

The Lakeside Lido caravan camp in Warren Road, North Somercotes was targeted by thieves on Wednesday, October 1st, the Louth Leader reports.

Three caravans were broken into, and a television was stolen from each.

In the light of this development, police have asked caravan owners in the vicinity to be on guard - and report any signs of suspicious behaviour to the authorities.

While this is sound advice for caravan and motorhome owners in the area, it is also applicable to caravan and motorhome owners at large.

However, looking out for potential burglars is not caravan owners' only concern when it comes to security - they should also remember to secure adequate caravan insurance.

This would ensure that, should their caravan be damaged or broken into, they would not lose out financially.
