Touring caravan insurance rescues jack-knifed caravan
Posted on August 12th 2009
As the summer holidays enter full swing many families embark on their summer vacation and with the 'staycation' more popular than ever the number of caravanning holidays are on the up. On the other hand the summer season also carries the added burden of having more caravans on the road, which unfortunately leads to a rise in caravan related accidents and thefts.
Junction 7 near Worcester witnessed the latest caravan carnage as a family tow car and caravan jack-knifed on the southbound M5 carriageway. The swinging vehicles collide with the central reservation sprawling across the middle of the motorway. The family caravan will probably be save by their touring caravn insurance, however unfortunately their holiday will remain cut short.
The family, two adults and three children, were taken to Worcester Royal Hospital by the Ambulance Service suffering from a series of cuts and abrasions but the luckily no loss of life was reported. The family may yet be able to recitfy their lack of a summer vacation.
Last week a family caravan was stolen at the Clackett Lane motorway services on the M25 as the family were on their way to Dover Port, another incident spoiling another caravan holiday.
Insure My Caravan provides touring caravan insurance for families up and down the country allowing parents and children to enjoy relaxing family vacations stress and worry free.
