Two caravans stolen from caravan site
Posted on June 08th 2009
Thefts of two caravans from a caravan site in Laleham is being treated as a linked theft following reports from witnesses that spotted a white van, with a blue roof towing both caravans at the time of the incidents, both of which occurred in broad day light.
The caravans were both stolen from the park that was surrounded with perimeter fencing and a locked gate.
On the first incident the thieves entered the park by removing fencing panels to enter the park and steal a White Swift Blakemere touring caravan, which had been secured in place by a locked wheel clamp, the second time they broke the padlock on the front gate and stole a 25ft long white and blue Hobby Caravan.
The thefts were clearly planned out, using specialist equipment to steal the caravans which contained their owners possessions.
